Cari Gennarelli is a Marin County real estate agent and REALTOR® with Bay Area Modern Residential Real Estate, licensed in 2009 and serving clients throughout Marin County and San Francisco County. A Marin native and 30-year San Francisco resident, she brings firsthand knowledge of both markets together with more than 15 years of professional real estate experience and over $120 million in closed career sales volume.

I offer my clients 25 years of relevant experience, including 10 years in property management, contract and pricing negotiations, construction and office management just to name a few. I practice a referral-based business rooted in quality over quantity and strive for the highest level of client care and guidance. My goal is to build relationships with my clients that last way past the close of escrow. I believe in and practice stellar client care and straightforward communication in all my relationships and have the time and enthusiasm to spoil my clients during their home buying or selling process.

I extended my Real Estate education with an Ecobroker designation as well as the NAR Green designation through Build it Green, so I can offer the added value of guiding my clients toward energy saving features and options to increase the comfort, efficiency and indoor air quality of their homes.

My Unique Specialties

My intimate knowledge of both Marin and San Francisco Counties as well as a solid understanding of the other surrounding Bay Area counties gives me a well-rounded depth of knowledge about what each area and city has to offer. My whole life has been spent in both of these vastly different but symbiotic counties. I was born and raised in San Rafael, California and both of my parents were born and raised in San Francisco. In High School I worked in San Francisco and 2 years out of college in 1987 I moved to San Francisco and stayed for 30 years. To me the two counties support and enhance each other. I don’t think I would want one without the other. The reality is, there is only a 1.7-mile bridge that separate the two counties and working in both keeps me connected to the variety of lifestyle offerings of both.

Living in Marin and working in both gives me a unique perspective for potential buyers thinking of making the move from SF to Marin, relocating from a different state or country and empty nesters considering that pied de Terre they have always dreamed of owning in San Francisco.

As an Ecobroker I educate my clients on making healthier, sustainable and energy saving choices when buying or selling a home.
